BASIC SOAP RECIPE

BASIC SOAP RECIPE

ESSENTIAL TOOLS
 Kitchen gloves
Kitchen utensils
Kettle for the oil
Glass frying pan for the soap
Wooden spoon
Kitchen thermometer
Pans
Soup bowl

MATERIALS
Caustic soda 140g
1kg of oil
Essential oils 20ml or fragrance 2 spoons

Pour the soy into the canada with the water [sometimes the opposite].Be careful not to be above the canada because of the mixing. It would be good to be with an open window.Stir a little to dissolve it. Meanwhile we have already put the oil to heat. Now the temperature in the stock should reach 50-60c and the oil 75-85c.Then we slowly pour the stock into the oil and start stirring.  This will take quite a while unless you use a mixer. When it starts to boil it is time to add the flavourings. Also if you want you can add some herbs or honey or even a colour. The colours for soaps are liquid confectionery colours and only need a few drops. Now when the soap starts to boil, pour it into the mould. It can be a cake tin or an aluminium pan etc.Cover it with a towel and leave it for 2 days. Then take it out of the mould and cut it into pieces and keep it in a cool and dark place for 3-4 weeks. After that our soap is ready to use.
